<aside> ⚡ I’ve always been fascinated with the intersection between design, technology and the physical world. This fascination has led me to explore some really fun projects and play with many kinds of interactive and immersive technologies. I love for being a part of moments and experiences that allow people to feel like they’ve been transported to another world. It’s like bringing a little bit of magic to life ✨

<aside> 💥 Shortly after graduating from Interaction Design at Sheridan College, I started exploring the world of Blender and 3D modeling to support my interest in AR and VR. I quickly fell in love with the learning process and the projects I created in my free time, and now I'm finding ways to apply my evolving skills within my career!

From 2017-2021, I completed my Honours Bachelor of Interaction Design at Sheridan College. It was an excellent program that provided me a very expansive design toolkit, including UX design, user research, usability testing, various code languages, information architecture, 3D modelling & printing, physical computing (Arduino), VR, AR, fabrication, the list goes on. Ultimately, one of the best things that program taught me was how to learn.
Capital One Canada
During my time at Sheridan, I completed an internship as a Product Designer at Capital One Canada. I appreciated the fact that during my internship, I was treated as a proper associate on the team, which led me to build a lot of soft skills for the workplace, along side the skills I developed in product design, user research, accessibility, and service design. I had to opportunity to work on the Capital One mobile app, numerous side-of-desk accessibility initiatives, and greatly appreciated the insights I got in to the world of service design, which was completely new and fascinating to me.
Speer Technologies
As I finished up my final year at Sheridan, I joined Speer Technologies - a remote software startup - as a Product Designer. My time at Speer brought me a wealth of opportunities to build my skills across a range of product types. I learned to design everything from a sleek and intuitive data-heavy dashboard, to creating 3D models and game assets to bring a client’s unique, gamified vision for NFTs to life. You can check out some of the projects I worked on, like Dropverse, Manzil, and Poppy on Speer’s website.
